This paintings is inspired by a spot we drove by in the Juniper Mountains north west of Prescott AZ. It was a really beautiful place. And again I enjoyed painting my version of it.

This beautiful turkey belonged to my niece and grandniece. My grandniece named him Tom after my husband. Tom had a lady turkey named Cindy too (but she wasn’t as pretty). So I had to paint a picture of Tom.

Just another Saguaro painting. The reference for this came from a hillside that I walk by often in my neighborhood. It was fun to paint.

This is my sweetie pie Scarlett. She is smart and talented. Border Collies are the best.

I visited Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming last summer. This painting was inspired by a photo and view that we had at out camp site. These buttes in the distance absolutely glowed at sunset! We visited this place in June 2016 and there were many of the camp sites at the higher elevations still snowed in. The views around every turn of the road were stunning.

This is a very common pose of my sweet Scarlett. She is always ready to play or do whatever she can to make us smile. She is full of energy and full of love and affection for us at the same time. This was my first try at painting her but not the last.
This is Sadie. She was a dear friends companion for may years. I’m glad I got to paint her for him. I hope my painting helps him remember what a sweetie pie she was.
