This paintings is inspired by a spot we drove by in the Juniper Mountains north west of Prescott AZ. It was a really beautiful place. And again I enjoyed painting my version of it.

Tom the Turkey

This beautiful turkey belonged to my niece and grandniece. My grandniece named him Tom after my husband. Tom had a lady turkey named Cindy too (but she wasn’t as pretty). So I had to paint a picture of Tom.

Medicine Bow View

I visited Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming last summer. This painting was inspired by a photo and view that we had at out camp site. These buttes in the distance absolutely glowed at sunset! We visited this place in June 2016 and there were many of the camp sites at the higher elevations still snowed in. The views around every turn of the road were stunning.

This painting was fun. It is based on a photo I took at the Historic Presidio in downtown Tucson. The chilies were there, the pots I added. The sun shining through the ramada above was what caught my eye.
